Ding Ding Cars

'Ding Ding Cars' are what the Hongkie called their Trams. According to Wikipedia, these trams date back to 1904. It's the only tramway system that runs exclusively on Double Deckers. It runs between Shau Kei Wan and Kennedy Town with a branch circulating Happy Valley. And it's only flat rate HKD 2 to go on it.

While i was there during my trip, Aegean took on almost every public transport in Hong Kong. I was able to take a ride on buses, MRTs, ferries, mini buses and trams. The only thing i didn't go on was a Taxi which i do not think it is a lost. There's nothing so interesting about the taxi there. Anyway, the trams were one of the rides i enjoy there besides the ferries. From my point of view, the trams are not only there to remind the ppl that goes on it the history of their city but also give them a chance to slow down and take a deep breath in this busy city. I love it so very much too because it has a vintage feel.

I wonder if there were many stories behind this tram.....

We will meet again....

Lots of things are happening recently. Last week, my mom admitted into the hospital again. She lost too much blood during period which caused her to faint. I was at work during that time. She told me she was unable to call me as she didn't have to strength to look for my contact in her phone. Luckily, one of her friend texted her on the phone so she was able to just click a button and called her for help. I went straight to the hospital after work. Doctor advised that she admit into the hospital. She was there for a day and did a blood transfusion. Further steps have to be taken to prevent it from happening again

The incident change the way i think. Before this, my heart still doesn't want to settle in m'sia. I was still hoping for an opportunity to leave the country. But now, i realise that i won't be able to leave my mom alone here. Life outside m'sia without my mom will be a No No unless i found someone who would take good care of her. In the end nothing is more important being with your loved ones. I don't want to be the one to regret when things happen and i'm not there for my loved ones. I got really scared when my mom told me she was unable to call me when she need help.
